I was pleasantly surprised that they were open on a wet Sunday morning in January in a seaside town. I'm so glad they were. My wife had a Bakewell slice, my son had a very chocolatey chocolate brownie with chocolate pieces on top, and I had a toasted teacake, which was more like two slices of a loaf made with the same ingredients. All three were full of flavour and delicious. My coffee was very tasty too, with no bitter aftertaste. The service was excellent, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and we had only a very short wait before our order arrived. We will be back again. I thoroughly recommend it.
Amazing food and staff! We were told straight away that there was a half hour wait. This was done nicely and not in an exasperated way. (It does make a difference), so we were happy to wait and judging from the other plates nearby, it was worth the wait. The staff were young, but the two girls who served us were super nice and accommodating. When my wife asked for drawing paper for our two boys, we were told they didn't have any as such, but she gave us paper from her pad and brought over some pens. The other girl gave us extra biscuits for the boys when she saw them grab ours from our coffee saucers. The food itself was really really good. The toast was really thick but not heavy. It had the perfect crunch. A good breakfast is easy to do, but many places fall short of this, but the breakfast at Coast was perfect. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Visited on a Sunday lunchtime - staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. Service was efficient and food freshly prepared, and delicious. Lovely seating area outside overlooking the seafront. We considered ourselves lucky to find this little gem of a cafe.

Really lovely little cafe, the scones were fresh, warm and delicious (the best I've ever had). Staff welcoming. Nice tea and coffees, chips and halumi fries. Outdoor seating, customer toilets, no parking and steps to indoor seating. Would definitely revisit and recommend.
What a great place! We stopped here late afternoon (so not really Lunch or Dinner!) and was pleased to see they were still doing a full service late afternoon even when other establishments had already closed. We sat down outside as it was a lovely day but was pleased to find it was a Waitress Service outside as well. Food was excellent and, as stated by others, value for money and, again as stated, all the staff were very friendly. Can well recommend this Cafe and the next time we are in Seaton I can't see us going anywhere else as this was such a pleasant dining experience. My only disappointment was they couldn't add a Tip to my Card and I didn't have much cash to reward what was an extremely pleasant time.
